body composition
Knowledge is power and you are more than just a number.
See what you are made of.
At Titan Training Labs, we use the InBody scanner to provide a deeper, more accurate understanding of your body beyond the scale. This advanced technology measures muscle mass, body fat, and overall composition. With real data and measurable progress, you’ll train smarter, stay motivated, and see results that truly matter.

Frequently Asked Questions
how do you measure body composition?
Titan Training Labs is proud to offer body composition measuring with an Inbody 570 device.
Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) is a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water. Alternating low and high-frequency electrical currents are sent through the water in the body via contact with electrodes to measure impedance.
Impedance values are then used to determine Total Body Water (TBW), both Intracellular (ICW) and Extracellular Water (ECW). From these, Fat-Free Mass (FFM) is calculated, the portion of your body that does not contain fat, including your muscle and bone - and finally, body fat.
how accurate is body composition testing?
InBody uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to estimate body composition. Under consistent conditions, it can be:
-
~95–98% consistent for tracking trends
-
Within ~2–5% of more advanced methods for body fat estimates
Is it safe?
Yes, InBody scans are safe for most people. However, individuals with pacemakers or implanted medical devices, and those who are pregnant, should not use the scanner.
how do i prepare for my scan
For best results: come in hydrated, don’t eat or work out beforehand, and try to scan at the same time each visit. Wear loose light weight clothing and be prepared to take off your shoes and socks.
Eating, drinking or working out before a scan may slightly impact the results of your scan but it should not stop you from getting a scan.
how long does the scan take?
The scan takes about 30–60 seconds, with results available immediately.
